No, when you contract with Eye Bill For You, we will begin filing your claims by paper immediately. In this way, there is no delay in your practice receiving your payments from the insurance carriers. As with all billing agencies, a few weeks are needed for electronic claims set-up. We will make every effort to expedite this set-up for you. Once your practice is set-up for electronic claims submission, claims can be sent electronically on the same day Eye Bill For You receives your claim information.

How can I be sure my claims are being sent properly?
Eye Bill For You is very experienced in billing claims and we are extremely careful to be as accurate as possible. If we have a question on a claim, we will never guess. We will do our research, verify patient data, and check with your office if necessary. Our software program is excellent and is updated as soon as policy changes have occurred with insurance carriers to decrease any delay in claims reimbursement.

Will I have to give over control of all my billing and My Money?

At Eye Bill For You, we believe in charging your practice an agreed upon price per claim, in this way, we do not need to control your incoming payments and deposits. Can you submit electronic claims to all insurance companies?
We can submit electronic claims to most commercial insurance companies, Medicare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shields. However, there are still insurance carriers out there that are not accepting electronic claims submissions. In these cases, we will send "paper" claims to those particular insurance carriers on HCFA 1500/CMS 1500.

How do we get our claims data to Eye Bill For You for processing?
There are several methods; Eye Bill For You can receive your claims data daily by facsimile machine, we can have it picked-up on regular basis by a reliable courier service (paid for by Eye Bill For You), our staff can arrange to pick-up the claims on a regular schedule basis agreed to by client or by having the office scan the documents onto a memory stick for pickup.

Yes, if you choose this option, Eye Bill For You can save you time by having us print and mail your patient statements for you. You shouldn't be wasting your time printing, folding, inserting, and stamping envelopes. We can process your patient statements nightly and automatically resend unpaid statements after 30 days with a friendly reminder.
